Dragana Rakasevic

Belgrade, Serbia

Dragana Rakasevic specialized in the field of periodontology and oral medicine at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Belgrade, where she also participated in teaching and training students. She earned a PhD with “Evaluation of the efficiency of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of peri-implantitis’’.

Currently, Dr Rakasevic works as a Research Assistant on science-research projects for the Ministry of Science, Education, and Technology (# 41008: Interaction etiopathogenetic mechanisms of periodontitis and peri-implantitis with systemic diseases of today). She is the author and co-author of several national and international research papers, presentations in scientific meetings. Additionally, Dr Rakasevic is a member of: International Team for Implantology (ITI),  Periodontology Association of Serbia, European Federation of Periodontology (EFP),  Academy of Osseointegration (AO), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) and Women Implantology Network (WIN).
