– Describe the importance of advances in digital technology to all members of the dental team.
– Explain what is meant by “Workflow” 
– Discuss the clinical and laboratory applications of digital technology.

Objectives:
– Explain what is meant by “Workflow”
– Recall the features of the various digital technologies
– Appreciate how these technologies can help improve quality and patient outcomes

Learning content:
This is an introduction to digital dentistry and provides examples of the application of digital technology to the delivery of predictable treatment outcomes. Examples of Workflow and digitally facilitated communication will be presented.
